The Written Workspace
The Philosophy: Work Should Be Quiet, Deliberate, and Accessible
The Written Workspace is based on the idea that top-quality work is achieved by prioritizing written communication above spoken words. Whether you’re dealing with a neurodivergent mind, a physical disability, or simply need to concentrate deeply, asynchronous communication is essential for maintaining sustained productivity.
My “Why”: Expertise Through Adaptive Resilience
My path into Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology is born out of necessity. As a first-generation student and a professional, I’ve learned to navigate a world not designed for my body or mind.
My perspective is shaped by Functional Necessity. Following a cervical spinal fusion surgery that resulted in permanent voice box damage, the written word became my primary bridge to the world. Navigating life with Cerebral Palsy, hearing aids, and chronic conditions like osteoarthritis and degenerative disc disease taught me how to optimize my environment—but it was my experience with ADHD, Generalized Anxiety, and Persistent Depressive Disorder that taught me how to optimize my mind.
I don’t only study workplace behavior; I research systems that enable people with various physical and cognitive abilities to succeed. After years of working as a substitute teacher and insurance professional, I am now transitioning to the next phase: applying behavioral science to help others find clarity amid chaos.
What You’ll Find Here
The Written Workspace is a three-part system created to connect psychology and productivity.
- The Blog: I bridge the gap between I-O Psychology research and practical, inclusive productivity. I focus on cognitive load management, AI content strategy, and the future of the “Silent Workforce.”
- The Portfolio: A collection of my work in technical writing, content strategy, and internet research. I focus on transforming complex data into clear, verified, and accessible digital content.
- The Consultancy: I want to collaborate with organizations to evaluate their communication systems and support their shift to “written-first” environments that enhance productivity and foster inclusion.
The Future of Work is Written
I am currently completing my B.S. in Psychology (August 2026) and will begin my Master’s in I-O Psychology this September. My mission is to prove that when we remove the barriers of the traditional office, we don’t just work better—we work more humanely.
Let’s build a workspace where ideas do the talking!
